The Berkhamsted Community Partnership (BCP) was formed after successfully receiving funding from the Countryside Agency for a Market Town Healthcheck of Berkhamsted in 2003. The ‘Healthcheck’ was a review of Berkhamsted, which included wide scale consultation with local people, to identify key issues and actions needed to improve the town.
The BCP is community based and driven, with a wide membership bringing together the invaluable expertise and knowledge of a broad range of individuals active within the community, including representatives from: key voluntary and community organisations, young people, the police, local businesses and schools, Dacorum Borough Council and Berkhamsted Town Council. |
